August 15
On coming August 15th Korean people will celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Fatherland Liberation Day. This is the historic day of the rebirth of the Korean Nation and the birth of Socialist DPRK. During the Japanese Colonial rule the great leader of the Korean people, President KIM IL SUNG, with his great ambition of the Fatherland Liberation, set out on the road of revolution in his teenage and fought against the Japanese imperialists giving brilliant commandership to the Heroic and nationalist Korean people.
The anti-Japanese military struggle led by President KIM IL SUNG is the unprecedented most arduous revolutionary war. Patriotic Comrade KIM IL SUNG was the Commander of the anti-Japanese revolutionary guerrillas.
President KIM IL SUNG's outstanding strategy and tactics were the decisive factor in the victory of the war against the 1,000,000 Japanese imperialists. He overcame all trials in the cold weather on Mt. Paektu and brought the Liberation to the Korean people on August 15th, 1945.
Therefore, all the Korean people in the north, south, and abroad regard President KIM IL SUNG as the great leader of the distinguished exploits in the cause of the fatherland liberation.
Fatherland Liberation Day of Korea, is a day of historic significance in the accomplishment of the independent cause of humankind. The liberation of Korea from Japanese colonial rule gave confidence to the colonial peoples looking forward to national liberation. It also encouraged the world's progressive people’s struggle against all kinds of dominations and for emancipation.
On this historical achievement, let us send our joint message of congratulations to the respected His Excellency KIM JONG UN, President of the State Affairs of the DPR of Korea.

The anniversary of the start of Chairman KIM JONG IL's guidance to the revolutionary armed forces.
August 28
The Youth Day of the DPRK is celebrated on this date. On August 28, 1927, the Korean Communist League was established by the great leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG.
Korean youth participated in the Fatherland Liberation War and they fought heavily against the US-led imperialist war on the newly born people's Korea, from June 25 to July 27, and participated in the construction of the nations' all-around development for prosperity and sincerely continuing their noble deeds for enhancing their beloved socialist system.
They are performing excellently in the decisions of the 8th Conference of the Workers’ Party of Korea for the prosperity of the nation.
They are helping in the process of friendship and solidarity with the peace-loving and progressive people around the world.
We must learn more from them about their nationalist character in the struggle and construction.
