To Build New Peaceful and Prosperous World by the Concerted Efforts
Dear friends,
The Korean Committee for Solidarity with the World People (KCSWP) would like to extend its warm greetings to those friendship and solidarity organizations and anti-war peace organizations from the different countries of the world dedicating their all for peace and prosperity of the world while aspiring after justice and truth.
On May 17 1974 was founded the KCSWP in reflection of aspiration of the Korean people and demand of the times to strengthen friendship and solidarity among the progressive peoples throughout the world who are opposing imperialism and domination, and to build new peaceful and prosperous world by the concerted efforts.
Since its founding day the KCSWP has actively conducted solidarity movement in support of the progressive peoples throughout the world in their struggle to defend peace and security of the region and the rest of the world, to check and thwart highhanded and aggressive manoeuvres of the imperialism, and to aspire after national independence.
At the present the KCSWP is working and developing mutual cooperation and exchanges while keeping a close touch with international organizations and anti-war peace organizations, progressive organizations from the different countries of the world, friendship and solidarity organizations with the Korean people and well-known figures.
On the occasion of its 50th founding anniversary, the KCSWP would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to those organizations and figures who have paid deep attention to the cooperation with the KCSWP and rendered full support and great encouragement to it.
At the same time, we express our firm belief and conviction that all the progressive organizations would continue to make various kinds of solidarity activities to invariably render full support to and solidarity with the Korean people in their just struggle for safeguarding of peace and security of the region and the world, and for rooting out US hostile policy towards the DPRK.
In conclusion, we hope that you would make bigger successes in your work, and we would like to call you once again for further strengthening of mutual cooperation and solidarity in the struggle for realizing common purposes.
