Action Plan of Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People (APRCFSKP)

THE Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People (APRCFSKP), under the ideal of Independence, Peace and Friendship, has been positively conducting its activities to promote the neighborly friendship with the Korean people and to create a durable environment for peace on the Korean Peninsula.

As it is generally known, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), thoroughly applying the ideal of “The people are god”, single-hearted unity and self- reliance, serves as a model of people-oriented politics and example of building an ideal society of humanity for the world’s progressive peoples aspiring after independence and justice, the genuine peace and prosperity.

The DPRK makes a triumphant onward march along the road of independence and prosperity, unflinching from any politico-economic upheavals of the world and obstructive moves of the hostile forces, and therefore, for all the countries and nations there lies the true path of advance for prosperity and developments in following the model of the DPRK while promoting the friendly ties with the Korean people.

The APRCFSKP issues its action plan as follows, prompted by the needs to further expand and develop the friendly and cooperative relations with the DPRK as required by the times and prevailing environment, and to elevate into higher level the organizing and unfolding of the activities to render support and encouragements to the Korean people in their just struggle to build a prosperous and powerful state and to safeguard the peace and security of the Korean peninsula and those of the region and the world.

1. The APRCFSKP shall give publicity in a correct manner to the reality of the DPRK which has won victory after victory by upholding the banner of independence and justice under the leadership of the great leaders, while actively unfolding multifarious activities to promote friendship with the Korean people.

The fact that the DPRK is adorning its whole historical course only with miracles and victories, is fully attributable to the exploits of the great leaders who have wisely guided the DPRK with the most sound idea and line for state building, and it is also the outcome of patriotic and devoted struggle of the Korean people.

The APRCFSKP shall coordinate the various events launched by the friendship and solidarity organizations with the Korean people and public figures of all social standings in the region on the occasion of the DPRK's national holidays and major occasions while taking an initiative in organizing well-arranged regional events with international participation as well as giving wide publicity to its proceedings through APRCFSKP’s official website and social media.

In the meantime, the APRCFSKP, in close contact with the Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt. Paektu(OCIFPGPP), shall proactively partake and play a leading role in bringing out the success of the future international events to be held on a global scale to laud the leaders of the Korean people and to extend support and encouragement to the DPRK.

At the same time, the APRCFSKP shall actively facilitate the many-sided exchange and cooperation of the Korean people with the peoples of various countries in the region, thus educating more people within the region with the reality of Korea where the people-first-policy is truly embodied, while making a positive contribution to the development of friendly relations with Korea.

2. The APRCFSKP shall briskly conduct solidarity activities in support of the Korean people in their just cause to firmly defend their sovereignty and a right to development, and safeguard the security and stability of the Korean Peninsula and those of the region.

As recognized by the international community, constant danger of the outbreak of the war is hovering over the Korean Peninsula as the inter-Korean relations have been completely fixed into those of the two states hostile to each other and of the two belligerent states, and worse still, due to the maneuvering of the hostile forces who are displeased with free development and prosperity of the DPRK.

The reality vividly proves that the peace and stability of the Korean peninsula has direct bearings on the peace and security of Asia-Pacific region and furthermore, those of the world.

The APRCFSKP shall vigorously and unremittingly carry out the various forms of solidarity activities in support of the principled stands and constant efforts of the DPRK to foil the isolating and stifling moves of the hostile forces and to defend peace and stability of the Korean peninsula and those of the region.

Fully accepting that the absolute strength the DPRK is cultivating constitute the capabilities for legitimate self-defence pertaining to a right to self-defence, which should be bolstered up to defend itself from the ever-increasing military provocation of the hostile forces, the APRCFSKP shall resolutely denounce and reject all kinds of moves and schemes to threaten the peace-loving DPRK with military means and to tense the situation of the Korean Peninsula and the region.

3. The APRCFSKP shall actively render support and encouragement to the DPRK in its efforts to build a powerful state oriented towards prosperity and development of the country and the growing welfare of its people.

The unyielding struggle of the Korean people, under the seasoned leadership of His Excellency Kim Jong Un, to usher in the new era of the overall prosperity of the state for building an ideal society of humanity in face of every trial and difficulty of history, and all the policies of the DPRK for promotion of the well-being of its people are winning the unanimous sympathy and admiration of the world’s progressive peoples.

The APRCFSKP shall give a wide publicity to the brilliant successes and genuine popular policies of the DPRK and shall take the advantage of all possible means and channels to actively render support, encouragement and assistance to the Korean people in their efforts to build a powerful state.

Particularly, it shall strongly push ahead with the campaigns for the prompt lift of all kinds of economic sanctions, isolation and stifling maneuvers which are of unlawful, illegal and inhumane character to infringe upon the right of the Korean people to both existence and development.

To this end, the APRCFSKP shall turn its official website into the more inclusive platform that introduces and shares the experiences of the regional and global initiatives by the progressive figures from all circles and organizations, aiming for the friendship and cooperation with the Korean people.

The Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, conscious of its noble mission, shall continue to take the initiative in the distinctive regional and international activities to contribute to further expanding and developing friendship, unity and solidarity with the Korean people, and shall continue to make all its possible efforts to ensure its uninterruptedness and continuation in the whole course of the APRCFSKP’s future work.
