Comrade C.P. Mainali Receives Lifetime Achievement Award of the APRCPRK

Comrade C.P. Mainali expressed his unanimous and unwavering determination to continue to fight with other comrades in the global arena for peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula.

He conveyed the above message after receiving the Life Membership Diploma of the Asia Pacific Regional Committee of the Peaceful reunification of Korea (APRCPRK) in Kathmandu, Nepal, Sunday (19/12).

The award was handed over directly by one of the Co-persons of APRCPRK Hon. Madhav Kumar Nepal.

“It is proud for me to be the Life Member of APRCPRK, which is providing leadership for peaceful reunification and independence and gathering support and solidarity from the world people. I will fight for peace, progress, and prosperity along with the Peace-loving people of Nepal and will continue fighting and extending full support to the just cause of the Korean people in their struggle to achieve independent and peaceful reunification,” said Comrade C.P. Mainali.

After handing over the lifetime award, Comrade Hon. Madhav Kumar Nepal was commended by Comrade C. P. Mainali for his tireless efforts in extending solidarity and deepening friendship between Nepal and DPRK and said that outside threat is not accepted by the Korean people under the wise leadership of Marshal H.E. Kim Jong Un.

Remembering the long talk with President KIM IL SUNG in 1993 October, Hon. Madhav Kumar Nepal said, "I had a long talk with the President on the Korean reunification. It is a tragic event that the outside forces are creating hurdles when the Korean people desire great national unity to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of their fatherland. "

On the same occasion Hon. Madhav Kumar Nepal was also commended Comrade Peter Woods continued efforts and energetic guidelines to APRCPRK to achieve its mission at a time when he needs rest.

Meanwhile, Comrade Peter Woods in his written message said he was very pleased to hear of the special event to honor Comrade C.P. Mainali with the conferral of his Life Member's Diploma of Asia Pacific Regional Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea.

He added that he was very happy that the Co-Chairperson of APRCPRK and former Prime Minister of Nepal, Comrade Madhav Kumar Nepal, was willing to hand over the award directly.
