Kim Jong Un visits Kumsusan Palace of Sun
The respected Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, together with his wife Ri Sol Ju, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on September 9 on the occasion of the 73rd founding anniversary of the Republic.
Present on the occasion were Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and First Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Jo Yong Won, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and Secretary for Organizational Affairs of the Party Central Committee, Kim Tok Hun, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and Premier of the Cabinet, Pak Jong Chon, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and other senior officials of the Party and government.
Leading officials of the armed forces organs were also on hand. A floral basket in the name of Kim Jong Un was laid before the full-length statues of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. Floral baskets were placed in the names of the Central Committee of the WPK, the State Affairs Commission, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet.
Kim Jong Un and the esteemed Ri Sol Ju, together with other visitors, paid high tribute to the full-length statues of the great leaders. At the halls of immortality where the great leaders lie in state, Kim Jong Un and Ri Sol Ju made deep bows with humble reverence to them who built the prospering socialist motherland, a genuine people's country, and handed it down to posterity throughout their lives.
