KAPE: Declaring Birth of a New Revolutionary Party in the Times of Independence

We are soon celebrating the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea with splendor amid the dynamic advance along the single road of building a powerful socialist country braving trials and hardships ahead under the wise leadership of the WPK.

Foundation of the WPK, this constitutes a grandeur declaring birth of a new revolutionary party in the times of independence and a historic event of great significance in shaping the Korean people 's independent life and in implementing the revolutionary cause of Juche. By brilliantly accomplishing the cause of party foundation, the Korean revolution could have its own powerful political general staff and the Korean people have a prosperous future on their road ahead. All victories and world-startling transformations of socialist Korea and the precious happy life being led by the Korean people are attributed to this historic day.

The protracted history of the WPK is a proud one in which the revolution was pioneered and the cause of building a Juche-based powerful country was advanced by dint of single-hearted unity under the wise leadership of the peerless great men.

The great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung and the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il defined the work of strengthening the Party's cohesion and unity as a fundamental issue and worked devotedly to consolidate unity and cohesion in ideology and will of the whole Party.

Thanks to the dynamic leadership of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il, theoretical and practical issues arising in gaining the Party's unity and cohesion were perfectly clarified, thus strengthening its organizational and ideological foundation rock-solid and remarkably reinforcing its combat capabilities and leading role.

The glorious history of the ever-victorious WPK holding aloft the banner of single-minded unity goes on unremittingly thanks to the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Chairman Kim Jong Un of the SAC defined modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the top programme of the WPK and further solidified the politico-ideological purity of the Party rank in the crucial turning point of inheriting the revolutionary cause of Juche. This was an event of noteworthy importance in the course of developing the Party. All the victories and successes gained in the forward march in the fresh Juche centenary owe to Chairman Kim Jong Un 's ideology and politics based on single-minded unity.

Likewise, the WPK has been developed into a revolutionary party of Juche, the whole of which is imbued with the leader's revolutionary ideology and in which monolithic leadership system has been thoroughly established; an invincible party integrated with the masses by applying the politics of affection and trust; a militant party leading the socialist cause to victory by bursting spiritual strength of the masses with its mature and seasoned leadership.

Leading the revolution and construction along the only road of victory under the unfurled banner of independence for as long as 75 years, the WPK is going to hold historic 8th Congress in January, 2020.

The 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea will be an epochal event which provides Korean people with a great militant banner in building a thriving country and enables them to continue from the victory already achieved to a new greater victory and will be a significant occasion to fully manifest force majeure of socialist Korea vigorously advancing with its Party and people firmly united as one.
